Planning Studies

As the starting point for most major capital campaigns, the planning study determines an institution's fundraising potential. A study will conserve client resources, especially an organization's time and money, while it also eliminates the possibility of failure that can result from a poorly planned and executed campaign. A preliminary case statement is produced, selected key community leaders and potential donors are interviewed, the community's giving potential is assessed, and potential campaign leadership is identified. The findings, recommendations and conclusions are presented through both an oral report and a formal, written report.

Leadership & Volunteer Development

We offer clients highly specialized expertise in the research, development and recruitment of Volunteer Leadership vehicles to provide the necessary advocacy to support your organization’s goals and aspirations. We bring together the expertise to educate your Board, Volunteer Leadership vehicle and staff on select development topics such as how to plan cultivation and solicitation activities, listen to prospects effectively, identify motivations, probe for and address objections, and ultimately close the gift.

Project Management

The principals of PMC Inc. will provide on-site services to manage operations from start-up to completion of your advancement program's goals and aspirations. Services include, but are not limited to, hiring a team of qualified staff, developing strategies and programs, managing all aspects of the pre-campaign, the quiet phase, public phase, and sunset phase, to achieve the agreed-upon goals. PMC Inc. will play a leadership role as an advocate in securing support of your mission and vision.

Providing Advice and Counsel

PMC Inc. can provide consulting services to your current Advancement Program in areas pertaining to an annual fund, capital campaign, major gift, leadership gift and planned giving programs. This service is available to institutions where professional staff is in place to manage the day to day operations of the campaign.
